Description:In spirit of it being Halloween we give you a bat! This part demonstrates the use of “Hybrid Modeling” where solid and surface bodies are used to create the geometry. Using solid geometry is usually more efficient than using all surfaces then creating a solid body at the end. Surfaces are only used to create the geometry that would be difficult or almost impossible to make with normal solid body features. This fun model has several different examples of surface features including surface lofts and boundaries, surface trim, knit surface, thicken and a ruled surface. Solid bodies features include sweeps, combine and a centerline loft.
