Description:This familiar tool in your office has been created as a single part to showcase a wide variety of SOLIDWORKS features. We combine sheet metal, plastic and a few surface features to give you several unique examples to help expand your knowledge of SOLIDWORKS. One feature example is an angled plane that control solid body placement. One of the parts move two other bodies, acting like it would in an assembly, by using sketch relations and dimensions. There is an indent feature to simulate geometry like that would be created by a sheet metal forming tool. A deform feature using the "Curve to curve" option quickly adds the finger grips to the tape dispenser handle. Other features include a multi-thickness shell, rib, dome, loft, boundary, combine and some revolved features. There are several instances of circular patterns, including a circular pattern of a circular pattern. There is one example of a "Vary sketch" linear pattern that is used to create the tape side grooves. There are four instances of split lines curves to used create text and other geometry. Two surface features, surface offset and thicken are used to create the soft grip on the handle.
