Name: Core Pins Description: Superior High Hardness Core Pins are made of precision ground H-13 tool steel alloy material, then hardened to 52 Rc. High hardness core pins are available in lengths of 3", 6", 10", 14", and 18". Lengths up to 40" and metric sizes are also available upon request.
Superior Standard Hardness core pins are made of precision ground H-13 tool steel alloy and then hardened to 32 Rc. Ideal for drilling water cooling holes in pin for both ejector and core pin use. Pins can be worked for special core geometry and then IOSSO Metal Process (r) coated to ensure wear resistance and smooth operation. Standard Hardness core pins are available in lengths of 3", 6", 10", 14", and 18". Lengths up to 40" and metric sizes are available upon request.

Founded in 1923 by Kasimir Janiszewski, Superior Die Set Corporation is a manufacturer of die sets, mold bases, pins/bushings, three platen presses, cut-and-ground machined plate, fabrications and forging products. Still operated by the Janiszewski family in the 4th generation, Superior Die set has several manufacturing facilities, warehouses and distribution with the capability to serve a global market. 2023 marks our 100th year serving the die and mold building industries.
