Specifications
Model Description: UNS_THREAD_SCREW_TEMPLATE
Name:Ming's Parametric UNS Screw
Description:With this part you can create ANY UNS Threaded Screw (or custom made). Just edit equations for values (in inch) of D_major_dia, N_threads_per_inch, and Clearance. I did not make a Design Table due to the feedbacks from my Ming's Gear Template part, so if you need to figure out what values to input for specific UNS treads, you may search in internet and there are many sources that provide this information. The base model has values input for a 1/4-20 UNC-2B. I use this model to create fixture with threads and send them to 3D rapid prototyping. Note: for 3D Rapid Prototyping you may want to increase Clearance to account for 3D fabrication capabilities.
