Specifications
Supplier part number: Multilayer Polyurethane Foam Absorbers
Name:Gradient single and multilayer foam microwave absorbing foam
Description:

Broadband Microwave absorbing foam is a lightweight, cost effective solution addressing today’s challenges in communication infrastructure. Single and multilayer structures consist of tuned absorbing layers with specific dielectric gradients to obtain its best possible matching with the impedance of air.

Eccosorb  HR

Eccosorb HR is a controlled gradient open cell series for free space absorber application

Gradient loading ensure good performance from few Ghz up to above 100Ghz . Eccosorb HR is used in various applications such as lining of antenna shrouds for low side-lobe reflector antennas, decoupling of adjacent antennas and array elements, camouflaging and interference suppression applications

Eccosorb AN

Eccosorb AN is a multi layer gradient free space absorber sheet series

Products are made from polyurethane foam treated with special filler and assembled in a laminate construction to generate a controlled conductivity gradient. Each product in the series has it’s own low end cut-off frequency that forms the basis of selection based on operating frequency. Reflectivity reduction specification is at least 17 dB down. Examples for use are radar antenna nacelles, anechoic enclosures, antenna, or target test mounts in radar ranges.

For harsh environment application, a neoprene coated nylon fabric wrap option is available as AN W. Various other option like polyurethane coating or PVC lining are available to meet environmental requirements.
