The REV Robotics Shaft Collar is used to prevent gears, sprockets, wheels, and other parts from sliding out of place on a 5mm hex shaft. Shaft collars can also be used to prevent the shaft itself from sliding out of its mounts.

The REV 1/2" UltraHex Shaft allows teams to adapt the REV 5mm Hex Shaft family of products to 0.5" Hex applications. It can also be used as a coupler to extend 5mm Hex shafts.1/2" UltraHex Shaft is also a perfect for standoff and cross bracing. The 5mm Hex hole in the center of the extrusion can be tapped to accept either 1/4-20 or M6 screws, or it can be drilled and tapped for larger diameters when tension loading is required.

These Low Profile Nylon Lock Nuts are thin enough to fit inside the channel of the REV 1" Extrusion. The embedded nylon ring provides tight vibration resistant hold on the threads of the screw.
