Description
The DTE-20M device is intended for operability testing and ampere-second characteristics monitoring of circuit breakers by power frequency AC in the range 20A – 20kA. It is capable to measure and record time and values of current transmitted through the circuit breaker, hereinafter – CB. It can be used as a controlled power source of AC up to 20kA in low impedance power circuits.In order to ensure personnel electrical safety, the output circuits are galvanically isolated from the power supply. The voltage on the DTE-20M output terminals is less than 7V with fully opened thyristor, that is favorable for the circuit breakers contacts in time of tripping, which wear-out is significantly reduced during multiple tests.
