Description
The VersaFrame is a construction system that allows teams to build an upper frame in whatever configuration they can imagine. Pre-drilled holes on a standard 1" pitch are designed to be used with #8 screws and 5/32" rivets, and can be easily drilled out for larger hardware. No need for precision fabrication capability - with just a saw and a drill, any team can build light-weight world-class frames. VersaFrame extruded square tube is a custom thickness sized specifically for the FRC market. With 0.040" and 0.10" walls, the tube is lightweight and more than strong enough for most FRC applications. C-channel and angle pieces help to provide even more strength where it's needed most. Note: 1" x 1" x 0.040" tubes are pre-drilled on all four faces. 1" x 1" x 0.100" tubes and 1" x 2" tubes are pre-drilled on the 1" faces with piloting notches on the sides without holes.

Description
The VersaChassis is the first product co-developed by the engineering teams at VEX and West Coast Products. This chassis provides the “West Coast”-style drivetrain in a very versatile package. No other similar products on the market allow for a fully custom configuration like the VersaChassis. This chassis itself is assembled using custom 2” x 1” extrusions and sheet-metal gusset plates. Designers can configure it into a variety of shapes & configurations using nothing but a saw and hand drill. Users can easily mount any of the VEXpro or West Coast Products gearboxes & wheels using the provided VersaBlocks. The VersaBlock clamps around the VersaChassis tube such that it provides a "West Coast"-style bearing block which can be placed anywhere on the tube, not just in a specific milled slot. The VersaBlock and VersaChassis tubes were designed & toleranced together such that the tube itself aligns the block; this is what makes it so versatile. To hold the VersaBlocks in place, West Coast Products has provided cams which attach to the side of the VersaChassis. These cams allow for the simple belt or chain tensioning that "West Coast"-style drive users love. In addition to functioning as part of our system, all of these products can be easily integrated into custom drivetrain solutions.
