Description:

This macro automates assigning colors to Parts and Sub-Assemblies from within an Assembly. Not really much difference between the SW 2007 and 2010 x32 versions. With the 2007 version you should be able to just change the Reference Libraries to your current version of SolidWorks. The 2010 x32 version does use a new method (I’m not sure when it was introduced) that makes it not backward compatible.

Precondition:	1) A Solidworks Assembly file is open. 2) Per-Select component(s) to be colored. 3) All components must be: Set to Resolved.
Postcondition:	1) Part Colors are changed and saved.
