Description
Pilot-operated, balanced-piston relief cartridges are normally closed pressure regulating valves. When the pressure at the inlet (port 1) reaches the valve setting, the valve starts to open to tank (port 2), throttling flow to regulate the pressure. These valves are accurate, have low pressure rise vs. flow, they are smooth and quiet, and are moderately fast. All 2-port relief cartridges (except pilot reliefs) are physically and functionally interchangeable (same flow path, same cavity for a given frame size). Will accept maximum pressure at port 2; suitable for use in cross port relief circuits. If used in cross port relief circuits, consider spool leakage.Main stage orifice is protected by a 150-micron stainless steel screen. Not suitable for use in load holding applications due to spool leakage.Back pressure on the tank port (port 2) is directly additive to the valve setting at a 1:1 ratio.Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.W and Y controls (where applicable) can be specified with or without a special setting. When no special setting is specified, the valve is adjustable throughout its full range using the W or Y control. When a special setting is specified, this setting represents the maximum setting of the valve.Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP for external stainless steel components, or /LH for external zinc-nickel plated components. See the CONFIGURATION section for all options. For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page located under TECH RESOURCES.Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
Description
This 2-port, pilot-operated relief cartridge is an electro-proportionally controlled, normally-closed pressure regulating valve. The valve is spring biased closed to its highest setting (customer specified). Increasing current to the coil will proportionally decrease the pressure setting. When the pressure at port 1 (inlet) is sufficient to overcome the spring force minus the solenoid force, as determined by the analog input signal, the poppet lifts and allows flow from port 1 to port 2 (outlet). The setting represents the maximum relief pressure which the valve will default to with no command. As the command increases, the relief setting will decrease. See performance curves for selected pressure range.Varying the analog input signal to the proportional solenoid provides a step-less control of pressure.Damped construction provides stable operation over a wide range of operating conditions. For optimum performance, an amplifier with current sensing and adjustable dither should be used. Dither should be adjustable between 100 - 250 Hz.This cartridge utilizes 740 Series low-power and high-power coils, and 747 Series hazardous location coils. All configurations of this valve include zinc-nickel plating as standard for 1000-hour salt fog protection.Coil connector options offer ratings up to IP69K. See individual coil product pages for details. This valve is fully compatible with the XMD Expandable Mobile Drivers from Sun.The preferred mounting configuration is horizontal or vertically with the coil down. The valve can be mounted coil up if it is installed below reservoir oil level to prevent air accumulation in the solenoid tube. Do not actuate the valve manually or electrically when the valve is not installed.Coils can be mounted on the tube in either direction.Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.

Description
Based on the search results, it appears your query for the Rexroth CD 120B cylinder may contain a typo. The model number is likely CDL1, CD210, or another variant from the Rexroth tie-rod or mill-type cylinder families. None of the search results reference a "CD 120" model.I have organized what I could find from the available documentation to provide you with the most relevant information.🔍 Likely Cylinder Series and SpecificationsThe following series and technical data have been identified from Rexroth product documentation:CDL1 Mill Type Cylinders Type: Tie rod or mill typeNominal Pressure: 160 bar (16 MPa)Piston Diameter (ØAL): 25 to 200 mmPiston Rod Diameter (ØMM): 14 to 110 mmKey Weight (40mm Piston):MF3 Mounting: 2.42 kg at 0mm stroke + 0.85 kg per 100mm strokeMT4 Mounting: 3.00 kg at 0mm stroke + 0.85 kg per 100mm stroke⚠️ Important Design ConsiderationWhen selecting a cylinder, you must account for the load on the piston rod. With extreme shock loads, mounting elements and piston rod threads must be specifically designed for durability and endurance strength .

Based on the available information, the Rexroth - Bosch Hydraulic Cylinder Tie Rod Design (Single Rod Cylinder - Series CD 120N) you are looking for does not appear to be listed in the standard product catalogs. The letter "N" in the model number likely designates a specific, possibly non-standard, mounting style for the CD series. To help you find the correct cylinder, here are the specifications for the broader Rexroth CD tie-rod cylinder series, which includes models like CD70, CD210, and CDT3.📊 Standard Rexroth Tie-Rod Cylinder SpecificationsParameter Specification SourceSeries Tie-Rod Cylinder (e.g., CD70, CD210, CDT3) Nominal Pressure 70 ... 210 bar Piston Diameter (ØAL) 25 mm (range: 25...200 mm) Stroke Length (S) 200 mm (max up to 3000 mm) Mounting Types Foot, flange, clevis, trunnion, etc. 🔍 How to Find the Exact "CD 120N" ModelThe "N" likely refers to a specific mounting style, as the CD series offers many mounting options like MP5, MF3, MT4, and MS2. To find the correct specifications:Verify the Mounting Style Code: The letter "N" is not a standard Rexroth code in the documents available. Common mounting style codes include MP5 (self-aligning clevis), MF3 (round flange), and MT4 (trunnion). Confirming the exact mounting type you need is the most important step.Consult Official Documentation: The RE 17016/07.03 document, which you referenced, is the correct primary source for the CD tie-rod cylinder series. A detailed review of this document will provide the complete list of available mounting styles and their dimensional drawings for the 25mm bore size.Contact Rexroth Support: For the most accurate information on a non-standard or custom model variant, contacting Bosch Rexroth directly is the best approach.
