High voltage relay having up to 10 kVDC switching and 15 kVDC breakdown voltage contact to coil. Reliable switching of high voltages up to 10000 V. The special open construction provides very high insulation values up to 15000 VDC and 1000 Gigaohm between coil and contact. A breakdown voltage of up to 15000 Volt over the open switch is achieved through the use of vacuum reed switches.
