Description
This familiar office accessory shows a great mix of features and techniques. The multi-body part has some simple sheet metal features and introduces some of the techniques of creating mold tooling. There are also a few examples of hybrid modeling using solid and surface features to create some of the geometry. The features included in the staple remover part include: revolve, boundary surfaces, trim surface, extend surface, knit surface, edge flange, combine, move/copy body, split line curves and many examples of the delete face command. Also included in the model are examples of the manual draft feature. There are two configurations, one as the completed staple remover and the other with the plastic mold tooling. The part also includes some of the automated mold features including parting line, parting surface and tooling split.
