This assembly contains 17 unique parts with 34 components total. There are four top level configurations. The Free Range configuration uses a limit mate to correctly restrict the blade's movement. The other three configurations show lowered, middle and raised blade positions. Two display states are used to have an orange and yellow color options available in all four configurations.This assembly contains mostly sheet metal parts with three parts having stamped, forming tool features. One sheet metal part has a new swept flange feature. The engine is a plastic part with drafted surfaces to help facilitate manufacturing.All parts have material assigned. All the parts have comments in every feature. All sketches are fully defined. Almost all of the features in the parts are named with the exception of some of the fillets.There is a short motion study showing the blade range of motion in the assembly.

Description
A surface loft forms the main surface of the hook. A loft is used instead of a sweep so that the dimensions from the 4 intermediate sections can be inserted into the drawing. A sweep would not have the intermediate sketches.The loft itself uses 4 profiles and two guide curves (the inside and outside edges of the hook, converted from the layout sketch). The option to “merge tangent faces” is left off. The edges will be useful for later blending the hook into the load pin area. The shape is also more accurate, as “merge tangent faces” would fit a spline over the original sketch contours.

The functional faces of the metal trowel head are going to be modeled first as surface bodies. After they are complete and knit together, they will be thickened to sheet metal thickness.A single surface sweep creates the main mass of the handle. If you edit the swept profile sketch, you will notice that two ellipses create the profile of the handle. In this case, ellipses are used instead of splines so that the profile will update automatically, maintaining a nice 'round' shape when the dimensions are changed. This negates the need to manually adjust the spline handles.

This assembly is made up of 18 parts that include; Bell, Big Wheel, Bottom Step, Bottom Step Rod, Cap, Fender, Fork Axle Hold, Fork, Grip, Handlebar Clamp, Handlebars, Pedal, Seat with Post, Small Wheel, Step Bottom Frame, Top Frame, Top Step, Wheel Spacer. The wheel is made using the Rotate Body and Revolve commands. The body of the tricycle is created with Mirror and Delete Body features. 34 Mates combine the assembly along with a Mirror Component feature to complete the design.

This assembly has several components, some with multiple configurations to create the stairs including the handrails, newels, balusters, etc... Some parts use revolved cuts to create their geometry, others have swept bosses. The Newel has multiple configurations and uses a Sketch Picture to help create the profile. The handrail geometry is copied to other parts in the assembly using the "Insert Part" command copying over only an absorbed sketch. This allows the handrail geometry to be modified quickly in one place and then the changes automatically propagate to the other parts in the assembly. All the balusters are added using Linear Component Patterns.
