Description
The first three structural members could have also been created as one group because they are disconnected but parallel to each other. This weldment is an object made up of several parts welded together. It is represented as a multibody solid, not as an assembly.

Description
The outside perimeter was created by using a rectangular profile. The “sweep profile” was partially created from two derived sketches, derived from Sketch1. This weldment is an object made up of several parts welded together. It is represented as a multibody solid, not as an assembly.

Description
This extrusion represents the outside profile of this shelled out part. This model demonstrates Hybrid Modeling (use of both Solid and Surface Bodies to create geometry). When the Trim command knits the surfaces together as part of the process, the Surface Body Count goes from 4 to 1. Cosmetic Fillets are used to eliminate sharp edges on the inside of the model.

Description
This model was created using only surface body features and then is turned into a solid body using a thicken command. The first feature is a revolved surface with an open sketch using an arc. This part is symmetric about the Top Plane.

Description
The front surface is not flat on this part. There are five degrees of draft on outside surfaces. The two edge Boundary surfaces are used to created chamfered corners around the curved edges. The thicken command will create a solid. Draft Analysis is used to ensure the part will come out of the mold. The part is shelled inward and a boundary surface is made using multiple cross sections and lower edges as guide curve. A grip cutout is used for grip indentation and construction surface bodies are removed to avoid confusion.

Description
This part uses almost all surface body features. Almost all surfaces are curved surfaces even the front surface is not flat. The only flat surfaces are the side profiles and inside slider opening. Side trims are used to create side profiles. The Surface Trim cleans up extended rules surface using the mutual trim option, picking what to remove. A Surface Knit merges the top and side surface bodies together. The main body is combined with a small tapered boundary surface body. A Boundary Surface Cut is used for the irregular shape lip cutout.

Description
This part only has one flat face where the LCD screen is located; it is created using only surface body features. The ruled surface acts like a sweep in the case, but you don’t have to sketch a sweep profile. The Surface Extend feature cleans up corners by “overbuilding” surfaces and then trimming them back, ensuring no gaps between geometry. The final two surface bodies not knitted together by all of the previous trim features are stitched together. The surface body is turned into a solid body. The cut extrude feature cleans up corners using convert entities and up to surface end condition.

Description
This Part is a multi-body solid which was created using mostly surface bodies with a few solid features added toward the end of the modeling process. There is a two section loft that uses a technique where a sketch point using the “Normal To Profile” option “fattens up” the Loft. Adjusting that value will significantly change what the geometry looks like from a point to bulbous shape.

Description
This model of a blow molded storage case is created with Boss-Extrude and Fillet features to begin the exterior of the case. The pockets of the storage case are made with the Cut-Extrude feature utilized. The latch of the case is created with Shell and Draft. Get started by downloading the part below.

Description
The surface is created with two sketches in direction 1, and one sketch in direction 2. The sketches in direction 1 are pierced to the sketch on the right plane that becomes direction 2. The outside sketch partial elipse will be used to trim the main surface, and the inner partial elipse will be used to trim the bottom of the scoop. The surface is split to allow a new sketch to be made C2(curvature continuous) via the equal curvature relation. Note that the short edges between the two blends are not used for the surface. Adding these to the feature creates undulations in the surface that are not acceptable. However, the edges will lay on each other due to the constraints already used. If there are any extremely small gaps, the Surface Knit will fix these.
